Lippy Building – Seattle

I think I’ve mentioned this before but something you are encouraged to do when your into photography is look around a lot.  Yeah I know that’s obvious but the premise is to look up and down and not just around you.

Anyway I was walking down 1^st Avenue in Seattle and walked past the Lippy Building.  Now there’s nothing special about the building (at least I don’t think there is, I didn’t really check it out), but on the floor just outside the building is an amazing mosaic stating the buildings name.

I kind of walked over the mosaic, it caught my eye and went back to check it out.  I think it’s really cool so decided to take some pictures.  I love the way the mosaic also includes the companies inside – very cool.

I have an eight year old daughter and up until a couple of years ago she used to make me play this terrible game – Pretty Pretty Princess.  It basically involves you taking turns around a board putting on plastic jewelry.  Anyway Carter found the game and played it with Master Chief tonight.
